Om een plaats in de kwartfinales treft Di Girolami met Irina Balus (WTA-591) een andere kwalificatiespeelster. De twintigjarige Slovaakse schakelde de Amerikaanse Julia Adams (WTA-474) met 6-3 en 6-1 uit.


In het dubbelspel gingen Kaat Coppez en Tamila Gadamauri er in de eerste ronde met tweemaal 6-2 uit tegen de Française Marie Mattel en de Nederlandse Sarah van Emst, die het tweede reekshoofd vormen.
