Met Margaux Maquet (WTA 629) staat er nog een tweede Belgische op de hoofdtabel in Baden-Württemberg. De 24-jarige Henegouwse doorspartelde twee kwalificatierondes. Dinsdag versloeg ze in haar laatste voorronde nog de Tsjechische Zuzana Kudlackova (WTA 1740) met twee keer 6-1.

Maquet speelt ook dubbel in Horb, aan de zijde van de Spaanse Maria Martinez Vaquero.
