De 26-jarige Spanjaard voetbalde sinds de zomer van 2021 bij Genk, nadat hij overkwam van Deportivo La Coruña in zijn thuisland. Hij speelde sindsdien 166 wedstrijden voor KRC, waarin hij vijfmaal scoorde.


Dit seizoen paste hij niet in de plannen van coach Jess Thorup en kwam hij nog niet in actie.
